Fluorite: Fluorite has many different colour varieties such as purple, green, blue, clear, yellow and brown. This is why it is known as the most colourful mineral in the world. The colour is determined by factors including impurities, exposure to radiation and the size of the colour centers. This particular specimen has been tumbled and polished to achieve its smooth shiny surface.
