In 1996 Carolina Trading was started from scratch with no client base and no products but a strong desire and determination to become a major player in the New Zealand gift and homeware industry. Originally based in Dunedin we moved to Auckland in late 2000.
We are now established as an importer and wholesaler of homeware and gifts, with sales agents nationwide. We serve over 400 clients in the giftware and homeware industry throughout New Zealand, as well as pharmacies, hardware stores, garden stores, i-Sites and PaperPlus / Take Note stores.
We have an amazing array of colourful, hand-made beautiful items from all over the world. We are also one of New Zealand’s pre-eminent direct importers of premium quality Himalayan Salt Lamps and crystals.

We regularly travel overseas to get the best possible deals, to keep prices down (and your margins higher). Where We Are Based
Our address is 8 Titan Place, Silverdale, Auckland. From State Highway 1, take the Silverdale exit. Go past Pak n Save and Silverdale Village. Titan place comes on the right hand side immediately after the BP Petrol Station. We are in the basement unit and next door to a NZ Post Postal Delivery Centre. We have plenty of off street parking.
