Tingsha Bells

Tingsha bells are small finger cymbals used in Tibetan Buddhist religious ceremonies.

Each of the two bells in a set are tuned to the same exact tone, and when clanged together, they produce harmonic overtones which are believed to aid in meditation.

In the modern era, they are commonly used for new age sound healing, though they are also still an important religious element in Tibetan Buddhist services.
